![]() ![]() The character is always shooting at the reticle in the centre of the screen, the eye-tracking is moving the character to change where that centre of the screen is pointing. The player then shoots at that enemy and releases the aim, which reverts back to the original reticle position of the helipad. When coming out of cover the game would normally focus the aim there but the eye-tracker takes over and the aim is at where the gaze is, but it happens so quickly that is basically is masked within the zoom-in aiming animation phase. So in the video at 1m37s we see the player is aiming with the input system at the centre of the Helipad. When the triggers/mouse buttons are released the aim then goes back to the point where it was previously pointing. ![]() When the player does the triggers/mouse buttons to come out and aim and shoot the eye-tracker is "moving the mouse" to point the reticle at the place where the eye was indicating. When the character is in cover the reticle is pointing away from the enemies. How would it know to shoot where the person is looking vs where the gun is pointed.Īh, what's going on here can be slightly hard to parse. That aiming reticle doesn't follow the look. ![]()
